The spaces we move through

Welcome

Hello, I’m Fabienne, a visual artist living on the east coast of Ireland. I paint the places and ordinary objects I come across, rooftops, facades and quiet still life scenes, each holding rhythm, memory and emotion. You are welcome to explore my shop and find a piece that speaks to you. I also create bespoke commissions if you are looking for something more personal. Thank you for being here.

Showing at Powerscourt House - February 2026

oil painting about urban rooftops

Inspired by a San Francisco rooftop view, The Rooftop Garden explores transparency, colour, and the quiet rhythm of buildings seen from above. Light and shadow shape a pattern of interconnected forms, where rooftops seem to speak to one another,  revealing how buildings, like people, coexist, relate and share a common space.

oil painting about Salt House in Sardinia

‘Poetto Salt House’ - Oil painting
Sardinia

Poetto Salt House portrays a disused salt-works building standing alone along Via Poetto, opposite the Molentargius flamingo park in Cagliari. Once part of Sardinia’s thriving salt industry, the structure now sits silent and abandoned under the intense summer sky. I was drawn to its stark geometry and stillness, where traces of human activity remain only in the bus stop at its side. The painting reflects on memory, abandonment, and the quiet persistence of place.
