Welcome! I’m Fabienne, a visual artist, painter, living in a charming coastal town, on the shores of east Ireland.

Originally from western France (the Vendée), as a child, I found myself developing a true passion for art, particularly enjoying experimenting with various types of materials – from fabric to paint to clay. This led, later on, to a BA in Interior Architecture & Design, and then to completing a Visual Arts Practice Certificate in the National College of Art and Design. I also took painting courses at the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts in Dublin and am currently enrolled in the Turps Art School (UK) mentoring program for painters (2024/26).

Over the past decade, I have worked with techniques such as drawing, printmaking, collage, natural dyeing, and material manipulation. This experimentation continues to inform my approach to painting, in how I think about layering , surface and the balance between abstraction with architectural forms. My current practice is focused primarily on oil and acrylic painting. Fascinated by urban landscapes, I explore how structures and shapes connect us to our surroundings.

My painting “Fragment of a City” was longlisted for the Jackson’s Art Prize 2026.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me, my art and my creative process, and I hope that you find a piece that resonates with you.
