‘Rooftops in Vouvant’ is inspired from a photo I took while standing on the ramparts of Vouvant village (Vendee), nestled in my home county. My aim was to encapsulate the essence of that picturesque place into its simplest forms and how rooftops convey that sense of place and community.

This piece was selected and exhibited as part of the 21st anniversary of the Mermaid Arts Centre, in Bray, in August and September 2023 (see here)
