Out of Propriano

‘Out of Propriano’ is hand dyed with natural indigo pigments (using the VAT process) on calico. Dyed rice paper and copper leaf.

A natural landscape emerged reminiscent of a personal Corsican view.

I used two indigo pigments (top and bottom), one being Persicaria tinctoria,, a rich blue indigo grown in the Provence.
Exhibited at the Signal Arts Centre in September 2020.
